Syscon was incorporated in 1973. We are a financially stable company that has been continuously profitable for many years and has an excellent credit rating. From 1973 to 1979, Syscon was primarily involved in software development projects for government agencies such as the Army Corps of Engineers, NASA, and the Army Missile Command. In 1979 we began selling multi-user microcomputer based accounting systems for businesses. From 1979 to 1991, we focused our efforts on the commercial and education marketplaces. We began pursuing state and local government in 1991 with the development of our PROMIS land records imaging system, which was first installed in Walker County, Alabama on May 1, 1992. Our PROMIS installed base includes 25 county customers in Alabama, 3 in Mississippi, and 1 in West Virginia. COURT CLERK, our court docket management system with integrated imaging, is installed in 7 Probate and 2 Municipal courts in Alabama; and 6 Chancery Clerk offices, 4 Circuit Clerk offices and 5 Municipal Courts in Mississippi. In addition to our imaging systems, Syscon’s PRESERVATION services have been utilized by 16 Alabama and 3 Mississippi counties. These county customers have collectively preserved millions of pages that are now accessible through their PROMIS and COURT CLERK systems.
